Hey Girl! This is India…….!

                                

Wait Wait Wait… just before assuming anything, let me set the scenario first,..;) hahahaha coz this was a type of general GD.

On 1 Sunday we were invited to one of the family gatherings for dinner. It begins with usual greetings of hi-hello, how are you?, seen after long time and exchanging smileys…. Right after few minutes we cousins moved to 1 side with our group (I mean group of same age..;) )

Chit chat started in a manner like:

A: Hey Bro, Hws your new job going? What are the perks and job role there?

B: Well it seems good, a good jump from previous organization and profile is better, I mean something new to learn..

C: Hey look @ this amazing pic, how beautiful this place looks!! But I wonder which place this could be with so serene atmosphere!

                                Her eyes stacked on that pic…

Me: It might be Ladhakh/Shimla/Kashmir something like that place…

C: Oh yaa, one of my wishes to rove @ Shimla- Manali.. Bro I am planning this summer to go there with friends

A: Yes, we can go altogether with family, lil sis

C: Bro… I mean and I said with “Friends”

B: Aren’t your bro is your friend?

Me: Bro , a friend!!! He is the one who always think himself as the best of all .. most illusionary person…

                                All eyes on me.. I mean actually I forgot that I m seating with brothers too… I signaled to C for my stupidity.. lollzzz

C: Guys you know it’s the best place to go and and chill out there.. snow on all sides , cool breeze , drizzling, freezed river… just wow!

Me: Hey let me add something more… there would be;

Ø  River Rafting

Ø  River Crossing

Ø  Trekking

Ø  Skiing

Ø  Camping

Ø  Paragliding

Ø  Zorbing

Ø  Angling

Ø  Cable Car Ropeway and lot more….

C: Noooo…. Not fair yar… you are tempting me more towards it , now I am dying to go there…

A: Ya, ya but not just with friends dear, or you can take me with your group… and by the way who are ready in your trip to join you?

C: Me and D are damn ready and bro it’s a tour , we will get more friends there on boarding of train, or say on the way..

B: Sounds interesting C, but you both are girls only. It would be better if someone to whom you know should be with you for your safety..

C: Why on girls every time..?? All restrictions .. mere injustice

Me: What you guys are talking about?? C’mon grow up!

Ø  She is adult

Ø  She knows how to care for herself

Ø  She would learn if nobody ( I mean any of the family members) would be with her

Ø  She would start recognizing people

Ø  Learn to mingle with different people

Ø  How to behave with strangers that suddenly turned into trip friends

Ø  To live the life moving out of the comfort zone and even…..

A: Hey Hey stop yar ; we are living in “India” yaa…All these things that you are saying its good in just words not in execution.

B: Agreed bro, but does it mean that we should suppress her freedom or say to make her always feeble by overprotecting her?

Me :Guys, whatever I said are not just words, its my experience. And its not about being suppressing freedom..

Ø  Make her as strong as you guys are

Ø  Even she deserves the right to live freely and fly with her own wings

Ø  Trust her abilities and watch her

Ø  If she reels, then hold her hand and ask to continue her journey….

C: So can I go with my friends…..?? Bro please ask Mom and Dad to allow………………

                Sound from far….. All of you come here for dinner…..

C: (Whispering in my ear) Thanks yar… Atleast you made some efforts to make my wish come true..

Me: ………….What you all say , Is this “Indian” mentality will ever gonna change for girls despite each one of us being highly educated….??
