Snow Expedition - In Nature's Lap

One fine morning I was rushing to my office and suddenly heard the noise chook chook chook chook….slowed down the pace of my vehicle, train was passing over the bridge.

Flashback

Just before couple of days I was on railway station with few friends really excited for my adventurous trip with bagpack on shoulder, bubble gum in mouth, goggles on eyes, cool looks and smoky attitude..

One whistle (Instructor) and everybody on toe gazing at each other unanimously. Instruction begins to get the tickets checked on board and accordingly to move in respective compartments.

Leading towards compartment, loading the luggage, arranging under the seats and settling down.

Train gets started, chatting with friends  about this spontaneous trip and heard ‘hi’ from front seat asking if we wish to play cards , we are like ‘yaa sureh’..

People started coming in and handful of friends turned into a big group.

Train is moving and our voice is also raising … badly hungry and started searching for “nasta” bag, and wow soo many things to ingest .everybody started grabbing.. kachad kachad kachad..(As if we were striving for food since long and just got today)

Fantastic view outside the window.. Green fields, humid atmosphere, chilling breeze, wet smell of sand, only few passersby on side of tracks…

Get back with games-fun-masti- pranks…Swirling and dizzy experiences continued while travelling throughout the journey….

Trekking Begins….
  •  Breathe – In Breathe – Out in the pure wind amidst nature
  •  Serenity and nature’s beauty gives divine experience
  • Camp Fire @ night on mountains, soopy noodles in hand, intro of fellows , antakshari of evergreen songs
  •   Time to scatter in respective rooms; off to bed and lights off, peeping out the door to verify everybody in their rooms so to start some real adventure in dark night
  • Torch in one hand and the other in friend’s hand moving out of the room  , pin drop silence @ 1 o’ clock, rubbing our eyes and seeing just blinking stars in the dark black sky with calm breeze and whispers of animals
  • Despite being a bit scary we dared to move a step; throat is thirsty, sweating on forehead in winter, stammering voice and finally had a sip of “Mountain Dew”.. ;)
  • Early morning fall on with instructor’s whistle , sometimes group leaders are missing too
  • Marching towards the upward slope in snow where shoes gets stuck and slips too
  •   Boosting each other’s morale ‘just a few mile and we will be there…(pointing towards the destiny
  • Corkscrew path while climbing , taking pause and sudden run to catch the troop
  •  Feeling of “SELF REALIZATION”

Ceaseless memories we had wrapped for each moment spent together!

Time turned up to say goodbye and got the tickets in hand… heads down, moods off , got the tickets in hand to move back… few hours journey together yet until gets departed on station and back to home….

Peeeeeeeepppppppp…… PPeeepppppp… Off to office… Cloud of cherishment bursted and back to routines…..

 Awaiting for next impulsive trip..;)
